ON THE WATER

When the bite’s really on, the last thing you want to have to do is go back to the lodge for more bait or supplies. We send a boat around regularly to check up on things and bring you whatever you might need. If we hear reports of some great action somewhere else, we’ll let you know.

When you come in from fishing, dock hands will clean and refuel your boat, check your equipment, and restock your tackle box.

FISHING CLINIC. For anyone new to salmon fishing, or if you just need a refresher, we hold a fishing clinic on the afternoon of the first fishing day. We’ll show you everything you need to know, from operating the boat to baiting the hook. You’ll learn the proper techniques for setting the hook, playing a big fish, and boat-side netting (you’ve worked this hard, don’t lose him now). Our fishmaster will also escort you on your first trip to the famous WALL, a consistent producer of big fish. Your tackle box includes a detailed fishing map showing many other great fishing areas.

FREEZING. We leave the cleaning to you—fillets, whole salmon…sushi…it’s all up to you—but we’re happy to provide assistance if needed. After each day’s catch has been cleaned and bagged, it will be moved to our walk-in flash freezer, and then boxed and strapped for your trip home at no additional cost.
