Salmon at the mouth of the inlet are full of vim and vigor and put on long lasting fights. The further into the inlet the less they fight. When reaching the top end of the inlet ( know as THE HEAD ) A 50 lb. Chinook will fight less the a 30 lb. at the mouth. Light tackle and feisty fish — a true fishers dream.
